The Nevada Wolfpack play the Boise State Broncos this weekend. This is thier toughest macthup so far this year. The last eight games, the Wolfpack has really improved thier defense and thier running game. I will be watching this game this weekend. Ethier way the wolf pack has a bowl bid so far. This is going to be a good game.
   Go Wolfpack!

Pistol was Rolling..........

Great game by the Wolf Pack today!  We amased 774 yards of total offense in the win " most this season by any team " Florida had 675 against Troy about three weeks ago!  Nevada rushed for over 565 yards on the ground alone........this tops the Air force and their performance of 474 yards set about two weeks ago!  What a day for the pistol!  Who says it's predictable?  Three Nevada players rushed for over 170 yards individualy in the game, as this is just crazy like!

Nevada turned the ball over 4 times, as this allowed FUNLV to hang in the game until halftime!  Nevada was also penalized 15 times for 165 yards, or this might have been an 80-14 game!

I am very proud of the Pack and coach ault for finally hitting one out of the park....you guys deserve it!  No let down next week, as we need to keep the pistol firing on all chambers!

Awesome job all the way around fellas!

Tough loss last night!

The wolfpack lost by 10 points last night to the Missouri Tigers in a flip flop game. I think Chris Ault needs to work on his defense a little more. Go Wolfpack!

Is Notre Dame ready for Nevada?

Is Notre Dame as prepared for this game as Nevada is?

Quote from Kyle McCathy a starter on deffense for the Irish about the challenge of the pistol offense. "We've been talking about it all week. It's kind of an unconventional offense. Kind of a mixture of a balanced offense with an option attack. You can't think of Nevada coming out with something other than the pistol. There's only so many formations in offense in football you can line up in. But, like I said, the way the coaches are playing the defense, we're ready for any adjustment. And our guys have prepared, we've been practicing against the conventional offense all camp.

I think one thing Boise State did well was I think they had a really good game plan for the pistol offense. Obviously Boise State throughout the years has had a pretty good defense and success in the WAC. There are definitely things we could take from Boise State, but we're Notre Dame, a whole different ball club with a whole different coaching staff. So we have our own game plan and hopefully it works as well as Boise State's did."
